Glancing Girl here …
If you’re like me, you’ve worn your sunglasses year-round since you were something of a little girl. I don’t know why I’ve always loved them so – I just have.
My favorites are big, big, tortoise-shell shades that cover half my face. I have a tiny face, so inevitably, I end up looking bug-like – but I think it’s so chic.
Unfortunately, I have a nasty habit of constantly misplacing (or actually losing), sitting on and bending, or dropping and crushing, my sunglasses. This has put an end to purchasing anything that costs more than $20. And, if you haven’t noticed – sunglasses can be a spendy purchase. The NY Times is declaring them an “it” accessory, and by the designers who have jumped aboard the sunglass craze and started carrying their own shades, I’m inclined to agree.
Sunglasses are a *crucial* part of fashion.
My best advice to you is this: unless you really need prescription shades, follow my lead and don’t go out prepared to drop major cash on this accessory. We have loads of sunglasses at the shop in all shapes and shades – all $8 a pop. At that kind of a steal, you can buy more than one pair (in case you should misplace, bend, or crush the first pair).
Come in and pick up a pair – you’ll thank me for how much you’re saving!
