Golden Globes*Fashion Report

Glancing Girl here …

I’ll be honest with you – I thought there were a lot of fashion misses on the red carpet last night. But, as always, a few stunners. Here are some of the looks represented at the Golden Globes.

Freida Pinto (far left) was hands-down my favorite of the night. Her dress was lovely – but she is so lovely anything pales in comparison. And Penelope is always gorgeous. Laura Linney won for John Adams {which I really enjoyed and you should rent if you haven’t seen it} and I thought she looked quite lovely.
As for Megan Fox … she’s just a little out of her league next to these ladies.

In the white gown category, I just wanted to point out Salma Hayek whose taste is impeccable and who always looks amazing {even when she’s nine months pregnant}. Darn her.

I adore Mary-Louise Parker and this blue is ah.ma.zing on her. But, hello! What is going on with Drew Barrymore’s hair???

Black is always a safe choice. Some people find it dull – I think it’s perfectly classic. I was surprised that I thought Evan Rachel Wood (far left) looked really glamorous and lovely, and Amy Adams was, as always, completely adorable.

Finally, how could I not mention America Ferrera whom I think is a wonderful inspiration to real women of all ages, and who is rocking the short dress look?
