I was beyond thrilled to find that Emily had scanned this {and other} images of Keri Russell from an InStyle shoot on her blog because this shot of Keri has been inspiring me for about a month …

First of all, she’s doing my *most favorite things* in the world – drinking coffee, eating, and reading.

Secondly, her ensemble is completely perfect. It’s feminized menswear again {you can tell I really do like it}.

The layering is just soooo perfect. The tank, the blouse, the frilly cardigan. Take note of how the stylist layers simple with the more complex. And the super-feminine details are essential to this look – curly hair, delicate jewelry, painted nails.

It is so good, in fact, that I’m going in to the shop right now to copy this look, exactly.
