Layering … A Tutorial

So, last Wednesday it was raining cats and dogs.
Seriously, we braved the elements and went around town and campus with our camera – but no one was out and about.
They were smart and stayed inside.
Le sigh.
So, we decided to give you a tutorial in layering instead.
This particular look has been my “winter” uniform {and is still serving me quite well}.
Start with a crisp, well-fitting button-up, and a pair of great jeans.
{popping the collar and cuffing the sleeves is a must}
Add a layer {or two}.
We added a vest and a cream colored scarf – mostly because we wanted the pink of the shirt to be the pop of color. Adding another shade would have been distracting. Thus, the focus on neutrals.
Finally, a jacket with a tiny bit of sparkle {note the antique brooch}, and a pair of metallic loafers.
Cute, yes?
