Transition Wear

Glancing Girl here …

Since it’s technically fall for most of us {we’re back at school, the kids are back at school} but the weather in the Willamette Valley is decidedly summer this week, I thought we could focus on transition wear.

Transition wear is just the technical term for that moment in between summer and fall when it’s still 85 degrees outside but shorts and tanks aren’t an option.

Enter the skirt.

I think this ensemble is brilliant for keeping legs bare, and a light cover on top {a thinly knit alpaca sweater, perhaps?} for air conditioned offices that leave you with goosebumps if your arms aren’t covered.

The green wedge keeps the whole thing cheeky and anything but matronly.

We’ve got a pretty good collection of transition wear in both shops at the moment, or if you’re just in need of a little styling advice – come in and chat with a glancing girl! We’re here to help you navigate the tricky territory of fummer.*

*fall + summer. ha. I’m so clever.
