{By Grishley: Nearly Newlywed}

Grishley here…

Nearly Newlywed's answer for the modern bride: Find your dream dress at a fraction of the cost, rock it on your big day, and send it right back.

I have to say, I am a pretty big fan of wedding dresses, and with several of my good lady friends tying the knot this summer, the idea of spending more on a gown than my last year of undergrad tuition is a little bit daunting. However, I say to all the brides out there; Where there is a will there is a way!

The new online bridal boutique Nearly Newlywed offers a new way to get dressed for your big day. With the slogan…

“Buy it, Wear it, Send it Back”

Share your inspiration with Nearly Newlywed via Pinterest for personally selected=

For each dress on the site (Also-not limited to bridal WE LOVE THAT!) there is a purchase price listed, the original retail price of the garment, as well as the price offered to you when you are ready to send your dress back. You can even consign the dress if you would like! Better yet, you have within 8 months of purchasing your gown to have it purchased back by the boutique or enter into a consignment period.

Pros…

  1. You are allowed to alter your dress!
  2. You can spend a fraction of the cost for a real designer wedding dress!
  3. You can find great dresses on the site for other events!

Cons…

  1. Professional cleaning is a must aka be careful with the red wine!
  2. There are only so many starting sizes for dresses available
  3. Your other girlfriends might be totally jealous!

What a great way to save, be green and worship our inner fashionista! Nearly Newlywed offers dresses from Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang, Marchesa and many more!
