Glancing Girl here …

Know any photographers?

This would be a great post Christmas/Birthday/just-because gift …

A glittered camera strap!

I know quite a few glamorous women who snap a pretty amazing photograph who I imagine would love to add a bit of bling to their equipment.

The DIY instructions are right here.

Homemade Christmas

Glancing Girl here …

Next on my list of items I’m making myself and gifting for the holidays … {the glitter globe post is here} is this citrus curd:

I know this sounds wild, but I had lemon curd for the first time EVER in the last six months. And I fell in love. It was one of the most heavenly things I have ever spread on a scone.

I promise your friends and family will adore you for giving this.

The recipe is right here.

DIY

Glancing Girl here …

I am making these adorable tiny glitter globes for Christmas presents this year.

Isn’t that the sweetest?

You can do it, too!

The tutorial is right here.

Handmade gifting is part of my attempt to cut down on the consumer nature of the holiday – I also like to give ‘green.’ Gift certificates to recycled clothing shops, for example … {hint, hint}

{DIY}

Glancing Girl here …
Something I’ve noticed recently is that skinny silk scarves are becoming really under-appreciated.
I love them … I wear them in all kinds of ways … around my neck, in my hair, etc.
This post made me think about wearing them in a whole new way, though.
Braided together and worn as a more substantial scarf?
Genius!
