{By Grishley: Fast Fashion Going Green}
Grishley here…
Now it may seem a bit ironic for a fast fashion brand to produce an eco-friendly line, but in follow up to their Garden Collection a short while ago H&M has launched a line of sustainable Red Carpet Dresses.

The dresses are a blend of recycled polyester and polyester, leading to their shiny sustainable reputation. The dresses range from $19.99 to $299, and I am hoping one shows up in the shop really soon!![cq5dam.web.648.486[8] cq5dam.web.648.486[8]](http://cdn.fashionista.com/uploads/2012/04/cq5dam.web_.648.4868.png?9d7bd4)

Just when I thought I loved the green one… hello orange!

Eco-Fashion
Glancing Girl here …
Vogue Daily published a little piece on eco swimwear the other day.
Turns out, there are a number of designers working with biodegradable and salvaged fabrics, and manufacturing their product in the U.S., cutting down on fuel costs, etc.
So savvy.
My purchase of a bathing suit this summer will certainly be from one of these designers, supporting the concept and industry of eco-fashion.

Fashion Gone Green
Resale shopping {and vintage shopping} is fashion’s newest darling.
Everyone’s doing it.
Everyone’s singing the praises of fashion gone green.
Resale boutique owners are even getting their own television series out of it.
Like Shareen Mitchell, who was just profiled in the NY Times.
xoxo
