It must be just as hot and un-autumn like in NYC as it is in the Willamette Valley, because Lucy’s been rocking a lot of transition wear lately. Which leads me to believe she’s jonesing for fall styles but has to manage the heat of summer.
Her ensembles are fabulous points of inspiration …

Hope you all had a very lovely Labor Day weekend and feel prepared for the first unofficial week of fall.
While the weather’s still in limbo between summer and autumn, a girl has to be creative when getting dressed in the morning.
Key to this ‘transition’ stage of the season is using summer pieces in rotation with some of your lighter items for fall.

It’s a very simple combination, really.
She’s paired her summer maxi dress and sandals with a blazer from her fall wardrobe. Easy, right?
